Our newest product, made and packaged by a local food processor, from our Purple Corn Flour—using sunflower oil and sea salt—and perfect with fresh salsa, or nachos on your favourite patio!! 

These tortilla chips offer the benefits of our non-GMO, heritage purple corn flour. The dark purple color is due to natural pigments known as anthocyanins, which are rich in antioxidants. Purple corn has a higher antioxidant capacity than blueberries. The antioxidants found in purple corn have anti-inflammatory abilities and encourage connective tissue regeneration. Against the Grain Purple is proud to be working with an Ontario manufacturer who has been making authentic Mexican corn products for over twenty years. Unlike mostnacho chips that our made from imported masa flour and many added preservatives, Against the Grain nacho chips are manufactured using a century old method called nixtamalization. The process begins with Against the Grain whole purple corn seed which is cooked with lime and then ground in a stone grinder, ensuring the freshness of each batch of nacho's. The stones are made from lava rock mined in Mexico. Locally grown and cold pressed sunflower oil is used to give the nacho's their crispiness. Authentically 100% grown and manufactured right here in Ontario!
